Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Branford, Connecticut

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in BRANFORD, Connecticut. This role involves a range of accounting duties with a focus on handling accounts payable functions. The ideal candidate will have experience with account coding, accounting software systems, and other related skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the processing of customer credit applications with precision and efficiency.

• Maintain and update customer credit records as required.

• Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Utilize accounting software systems to process and track payments and expenses.

• Perform account coding to ensure accurate tracking of financial transactions.

• Use ADP - Financial Services and Concur systems to manage accounts payable.

• Implement ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient business process management.

• Conduct regular auditing of financial transactions and accounts.

• Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and ensure smooth financial operations. Requirements • Proficiency in account coding is essential for this role.

• Familiarity with accounting software systems is a must.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of Concur software will be advantageous.

• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary.

• Able to perform various accounting functions effectively.

• Prior experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required.

• Proficiency in accrual accounting is necessary.

• Experience in auditing will be a valuable addition.

• Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes is required.
