ASSISTANT ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE MANAGER - International Manufacturer in Braselton

My client, a well-established international manufacturer in Braselton, is searching for an Assistant Accounts Receivable Manager to join their team for an immediate, direct-hire opportunity. The Assistant Accounts Receivable Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable (AR) department, ensuring efficient collections, accurate record-keeping, and resolution of discrepancies and disputes with customers. Reporting directly to the Accounting and AR Manager, this role involves generating financial reports related to AR functions, responding to inquiries, and maintaining adherence to company policies and procedures.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead all activities in the Accounts Receivable function.

  • Lead and mentor the Accounts Receivable team, fostering skill development and leading recruitment efforts when necessary.

  • Supervise collection activities, including reviewing Accounts Receivable reports, conducting follow-up inquiries, and coordinating credit reviews.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the Accounts Receivable department, collaborating with cross-functional teams to standardize procedures.

  • Generate financial reports concerning account receivables and account statuses.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.

  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and engage with a diverse workforce while implementing streamlined processes.

  • Advanced Excel proficiency; familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Teams.

  • Experience working with large datasets.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.

  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a timely manner.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor, capable of working with employees at all levels.

  • Superior oral and written communication abilities, coupled with strong customer service skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information of associates.

  • Familiarity with office equipment such as photocopiers and fax machines.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.

  • 2-4 years of supervisory experience.

  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, along with proficient math and writing abilities.
