Robert Half is actively recruiting for an AP Manager/ Consultant for our large publicly traded Manufacturing client. The consultant’s primary responsibilities will be leading and managing the accounts payable team of 8 accounts payable Leads and Processors, addressing and providing solutions to ad-hoc requests and AP scenarios, and preparing weekly KPI's AP exception reports. The consultant must have a vibrant command of AP processes and must be highly skilled with SAP software. This role will be located hybrid schedule in Brea, CA.

Skills:

-AP Aging report and AP flux analysis experience

-Understanding of GL Accounting (AP subledger and AP Accruals)

-Supervise a team of 8 staff

-Manage AP disbursements and 1099 related matters

-Develop and maintain AP department KPI's

-Quarterly external Audit support

-SAP knowledge required

-Knowledge of Vendor Invoice Management by OpenText (VIM)

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years+ of experience in Accounts Payable

• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures.

• Extensive experience in auditing, including the ability to identify and correct discrepancies.

• SAP and its applications in accounting management.

• Ability to generate Ad Hoc Reports as required by management.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively.
