We're looking for people who are driven by a challenging work environment with many components. If you can prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation, you might be right for this Staff Accountant position. To succeed in this role, you will need to perform internal reporting during the monthly close, participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes. What you get to do every single day
Support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks
Upon request, take part in special projects and impromptu reporting
Manage intercompany reconciliation, billings, and transactions
Compose analyses for income statements and monthly balance sheets for management reporting
Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll
Partake in a variety of department-wide initiatives
Conduct month end close and compose journal entries with minimal supervision
Organize and review various financial data, then report it in a manner that is useful and understandable
Organize schedules for monthly payments and capital lease
Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP
Regularly maintain and reconcile journal entries
In-depth experience with month end balance sheet account reconciliations
Oversee depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation

Requirements - Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
Account reconciliation experience
General familiarity with Microsoft Excel
Bank reconciliations experience preferred
Balance Sheet Reconciliation experience
Proficiency in Bank Account Reconciliation
Well-founded grasp of Excel Formulas
Balance Sheet Reconciliation experience highly desired
Proven knowledge of Bank Account Reconciliation
Practical knowledge of Monthly Financials
Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Recent and relevant accounting experience
Demonstrated analytical abilities, tendency to quickly connect dots and surmise logical outcomes
Efficient in ERP systems
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Fully formed organizational, written and verbal communication skills
