Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Brentwood, Tennessee
Description
We are looking for a meticulous Accounts Payable Specialist for our client located in Brentwood, Tennessee. This role involves reconciling remittance addresses on outgoing checks, ensuring they match the details in our system, and liaising with internal teams for any necessary updates. This position offers an esitmated 2 month, short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize accounting software systems to process payments and maintain records
• Work with large ERP system and Microsoft Excel to manage accounting functions and data entry tasks
• Oversee accounts payable, including check processing
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies in accounts or payments
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all system data is updated and accurate.
Requirements
• Proficient in large ERP Systems(ie: SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Great Plains)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• In-depth understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures
• Ability to perform Check Processing tasks
• Ability to start immediately and work onsite 100% of time.
• Ability to identify and rectify Discrepancies
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
