Description We are offering a role in the transport industry situated in BRIDGEVILLE, Pennsylvania, United States. This role is for a Staff Accountant who will be working on-site. As a Staff Accountant, you will handle a variety of financial analysis tasks including the use of excel skills for various functions and basic journal entries.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong Excel skills by independently performing functions such as xlookup/vlookup/sumif(s)/pivot tables.

• Handle basic journal entries, specifically focusing on reclass and accruals.

• Utilize accounting skills such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, and Month End Close.

• Work with software such as NetSuite and Oracle to manage financial data.

• Ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.

• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure financial data is consistent and accurate.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.

• Adhere to industry regulations and company policies related to financial management. Requirements • Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) tasks

• Demonstrated ability in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experienced in performing Bank Reconciliations

• Proficient in maintaining and updating the General Ledger

• Skilled in creating and recording Journal Entries

• Capable of managing Month End Close procedures

• Experience with NetSuite software is essential

• Familiarity with Oracle software is a plus

• Relevant experience in the transport industry is desirable

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
