Robert Half Accounting Manager in Bridgewater, New Jersey
Description We are searching for a meticulous Accounting Manager to join our team in BRIDGEWATER, New Jersey. This role will primarily focus on the sales division, requiring a hands-on approach to managing entries and preparing forecasts for sales and inventories. The role involves a hybrid work model, with the flexibility to work remotely on certain days.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the preparation of entries, with a focus on accruals and prepaids
• Generate accurate forecasts for sales and inventory
• Utilize SAP S/4HANA and Hyperion for various accounting tasks
• Leverage Microsoft Excel for tasks such as pivots and lookups
• Employ skills in Month End Close, Accruals, Prepaids, Forecasting, and Inventory forecasting
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all accounting activities
• Collaborate with the sales team to analyze financial data and identify trends
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
• Address any inquiries or issues related to customer credit accounts
• Take necessary actions to collect delinquent payments from customers. Requirements
• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and Microsoft Excel is preferred.
• Must have the ability to manage Month End Close processes.
• Experience with Accruals and Prepaids is necessary.
• Knowledge of Forecasting and Inventory forecasting is essential.
• Familiarity with Hyperion Financial Reporting is a prerequisite.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are expected.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
• Prior experience in a similar role or in the accounting field is a plus.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is desirable.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations is expected.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion is necessary.
