Robert Half Accounts Payable Accountant in Bridgewater, New Jersey
Description
A leading construction conglomerate based in Somerset County is looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant reporting to the Controller for a permanent opportunity. This Accounts Payable Accountant would be responsible for the following:
-Processing all invoices (approx. 50/week)
-Managing all vendor relationships
-Managing company credit cards
-Bank reconciliations
-Coding invoices to the appropriate GL account and other general ledger work
-Handling all expense reports and petty cash
-Reporting and payment forecasting
-Assist with job costing as needed
Requirements
The ideal Accounts Payable Accountant would possess the following qualifications:
-10+ years of experience within a similar role within the construction industry
-Strong proficiency with MS Office including Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.) and Timberline/Sage 300
-Previous experience working in a Cloud/paperless setting
-Excellent organizational skills
-Positive, can-do approach to their day to day
