Bridgewater, NJ – new location as of a week ago

Need to help set up the new office

Doubling the size of company, building out machines, imaging, boxing machines, sending them out to new hires

40-50 people in the BWO

400 people total including remote works

Job Summary:

The Technical Support Technician I will be responsible for the day-to-day support for technical issues with staff including conference room support, laptops, desktops, printers, desktop phones and mobile phones.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Providing helpdesk support and resolving problems to the end user’s satisfaction

Monitoring and promptly and effectively responding to requests through the IT helpdesk

Assisting with onboarding of new users

Installing, testing and configuring new workstations, peripheral equipment and software

Managing PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software

Providing support for conference rooms, meetings and technical support for the phone system

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent is required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline is preferred

At least 3 years of technical support experience

Must have excellent customer service skills and demonstrate strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability and desire to work in a team-oriented environment

Some experience with “SCCM” or as it might be known “Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager” would be a really nice bonus for the team if possible.

Requirements - Experience in user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment

  • Background in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications

  • Understanding of basic networking concepts

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • IT support ticketing system experience desired

  • 2+ years of prior experience

  • Microsoft SCCM experience desired

  • Expertise in Desktop Imaging

  • Ticketing System experience

  • Deep understanding of Mobile Device Management

  • Experience with Asset Inventory Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
