Description
Robert Half is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a 3-month contract position. The role will involve managing HR-related activities and programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a supportive workplace culture.
HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, performance management, and talent development.
Address employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex issues to the executive leadership team.
Provide guidance on specialized HR matters such as accommodations, investigations, and terminations.
Collaborate with department managers to recruit, interview, and permanent experience in candidates.
Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Stay updated with HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies.
Support HR programs aimed to improve productivity, morale, and employee recognition.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters. Perform other duties as assigned by the leadership team.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the HR field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Organized with high attention to detail.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Understanding of employment-related laws and regulations.
Proficiency in or the ability to quickly learn HRIS and talent management systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience in processing payroll for 500+ employees.
