Robert Half Senior Tax Reviewer in Bridgewater, New Jersey

Description

As a Senior Tax Manager at Robert Half, you will play a pivotal role in our tax department, responsible for reviewing high net worth individual tax returns and providing expert guidance to our clients. We are looking for an experienced tax professional who can demonstrate leadership, technical expertise, and exceptional client service skills. This role can be fully remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and oversee the preparation of complex high net worth individual tax returns, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and optimization of tax strategies.

  • Provide comprehensive tax planning and consulting services to high net worth clients, identifying opportunities for tax minimization and wealth preservation.

  • Supervise and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and training to support their professional growth.

  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and apply this knowledge to client engagements.

  • Foster strong client relationships by delivering exceptional client service and addressing their tax-related needs and concerns.

  • Collaborate with partners and other departments within the firm to provide integrated financial solutions to clients.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of firm-wide tax strategies and initiatives.

  • Maintain a high level of professional ethics and confidentiality in handling sensitive client information.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification required.

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive tax experience in a CPA firm environment.

  • Extensive experience with high-net worth individual tax compliance and planning.

  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.

  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.

  • Commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards in the accounting profession.
