Description We are looking to bring an Accounts Payable Clerk on board our team operating within the Non-Profit sector, located in BRONX, New York, 10459-2904, United States. This role provides a short-term contract employment opportunity, with responsibilities including invoice processing, check runs, and maintaining accounts payable duties.

Responsibilities:

• Processing and managing invoices accurately and on time

• Conducting full-cycle accounts payable duties

• Matching invoices with the corresponding wire transfers

• Handling a high volume of work, including managing invoices daily

• Utilizing software like Microsoft Excel for creating spreadsheets and pivot tables

• Account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records

• Coding invoices for proper categorization and record-keeping

• Efficient data entry to maintain up-to-date account records

• Proficient use of QuickBooks, Oracle, and SAP for financial management

• Utilizing FUND E-Z and Excel Formulas for efficient and accurate financial tasks. Requirements • Proven experience in the role of an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar position within a non-profit organization.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP).

• Experience with check runs and coding invoices.

• Strong skills in data entry and invoice processing.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of Excel Formulas.

• Experience with Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and FUND E-Z software.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
