An outstanding Nonprofit Organization in the city of New York currently has a position available for a Director of Grants. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a mission that helps improve lives and effect change.
Responsibilities of this position will include:
Managing all billing, accounts receivable, financial planning, reporting, and administrative functions of grants accountants
Collaborating with financial staff in the production and analysis of monthly financial statements
Ensuring contact compliance in all cases
Supervising all grants and contracts accountants
Collaborating with other departments and divisions to ensure internal controls are properly followed for all contract management
Handling ad hoc duties as necessary
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 7 years of experience, with a Nonprofit background, including exposure to grants management. Strong knowledge of MS Excel is required. This position will go to an analytical thinker, with a strong work ethic and exceptional communication skills.
