Description We are searching for a Project Assistant to join our team in the Social Care/Services industry. This role is based in Brookfield, Wisconsin and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. As a Project Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting a range of project-related tasks including organization and shipping functions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and organization of the workspace for renovation activities

• Safely remove items such as pictures from walls, ensuring they are properly wrapped and boxed

• Accurately label and categorize boxed items for easy identification

• Transport boxed items to designated locations using available tools such as carts and elevators

• Coordinate with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely

• Organize files and documents associated with the project

• Perform other related duties as assigned, adhering to safety and industry standards

• Utilize organizational skills to ensure smooth operation of project activities

• Participate in project meetings and discussions, providing updates on task progress

• Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during the project execution. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field

• Experience in project management or administrative roles within the Social Care/Services sector

• Proficient in organizing files and maintaining documentation

• Knowledge of shipping functions and logistics

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse groups

• Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet project deadlines

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other project management tools

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of social care policies and regulations

• Demonstrated commitment to promoting social welfare and advocacy.
