Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Brooklyn, New York. This role is essential to our team as you'll be responsible for managing and maintaining our customer credit records, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring timely collection of payments. This is a hybrid role that combines the functions of Credit Clerk and Accounts Receivable Clerk, providing a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications and maintain related records.
• Handle customer inquiries related to credit and resolve any issues promptly.
• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly and take necessary action for delinquent payments.
• Post orders into the company database as part of the accounts receivable duties.
• Process invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle vendor disputes and collections, working towards a resolution that benefits the company.
• Utilize various software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for efficient and effective credit management.
• Perform account reconciliation regularly to ensure accurate financial records.
• Manage cash applications and cash collections, maintaining a steady cash flow for the company.
• Handle commercial collections, ensuring that all payments are received in a timely manner. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential
• Proficiency in Billing processes
• Knowledge of Cash Applications and Cash Collections
• Experience with Commercial Collections is crucial
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Oracle software
• Experience with QuickBooks is preferred
• Knowledge of SAP software is required
