Robert Half International Procurement Specialist in BROOKLYN, New York

Description Large Brooklyn-based institution is currently seeking a mid-level Procurement Specialist to join growing team. In this role, the Procurement Specialist will help ensure the efficient execution of the organization’s procurement needs, including identifying appropriate vendors, solicitation of statements of work/bid packages, evaluation of proposals/bids, Creating/Updating supplier records, property control reconciliation, analyzing purchasing monitoring reports, issuing purchase orders and more. Candidates must have hands on involvement in large, complex procurements, work closely with Project Managers and technical staff to support project needs, while simultaneously ensuring compliance with contract requirements and applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred; an advanced degree and/or Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) Certification is ideal. Candidates should have at least 2-4+ years of experience with progressively increasing responsibility. A high proficiency in Microsoft Office products especially Word and Excel are needed. We are seeking a highly analytical individual with a great attitude and team-player approach. Salary range is 60-80K plus excellent benefits.
