Description We are looking to bring on board a Project Manager with advanced skills and over 6 years of experience. The job function involves managing data migration projects, defining project objectives, coordinating with team leads, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role is based in Brooklyn, New York and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Lead data migration projects that include switching cloud service providers, rebuilding data pipelines, orchestration workflows, data models, and managing data strategy.

• Work in collaboration with team leads to define project objectives, targets, and timelines.

• Coordinate with dedicated data owners, analysts, and data engineers to establish scope requirements.

• Prioritize tasks, coordinate meetings, and facilitate the project.

• Identify and evaluate project risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.

• Adhere to strict compliance and regulatory controls while maintaining accurate and complete documentation.

• Create and maintain project status updates and communicate consistently to manage stakeholder expectations.

• Build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered on time.

• Utilize project management tools such as JIRA/Confluence to support project management.

• Ensure the quality and accuracy of data and analytics tools and Business Intelligence Platforms. Requirements • Advanced experience in project management (over 6 years)

• Proven skills in communication and collaboration

• Proficient in documentation and planning

• Ability to conduct analytics and ensure compliance with rules and regulations

• Experience in managing budget processes

• Demonstrated understanding of quality control in project management

• Proficiency in time management software, 'About Time'

• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage stakeholders

• Familiarity with cloud technologies

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Experience managing timelines and mitigating risks

• Ability to meet targets and deliver results

• Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence

• Skills in creating dashboards and working with business intelligence technologies

• Experience in program management and reporting project status

• Knowledge in data modeling and data migration.
