Description

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing our clients' accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), prepare financial statements, and provide tax guidance. The role includes handling account reconciliations, supporting client onboarding, and assisting with month-end close and financial reporting activities. Experience with QuickBooks is essential for performing these tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements.

  • Provide tax guidance and assist in tax planning strategies.

  • Conduct account reconciliations and manage the general ledger.

  • Support the client onboarding process to ensure smooth transitions.

  • Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Manage financial reporting to ensure compliance and accuracy.

  • Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting and bookkeeping tasks.

    Requirements

• Proven proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Balance Sheet Reconciliation.

• Demonstrable experience with General Ledger management.

• Proficiency in creating and managing Journal Entries.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in Month End Close procedures.

• Proficiency with QuickBooks software.

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Ability to Prepare Financial Statements.

• Knowledge of Tax Planning Strategies.

• CPA certification or equivalent professional accounting qualification.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

• Ability to interpret and analyze financial data and provide financial guidance to management.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.

• Knowledge of accounting best practices and regulations.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
