Robert Half Bookkeeper in Brookshire, Texas
Description Robert Half is looking to bring an experienced Bookkeeper onto a growing team at an innovative firm. Based in the Brookshire, Texas region, this Bookkeeper role would be a short-term contract / temporary to hire position.
Key responsibilities
Be responsible for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Review payments received and record deposits
Supervise bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accounts
Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Maintain and balance general ledger
Reconcile accounts by rectifying entries
Uphold quality historical records by filing documents Requirements - Earlier experience working with various types of accounting software desired
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Foundational knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR)
Knowledge of Full Cycle Payroll
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Proficiency in HR Payroll System
Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
