Description This role handles essential tasks, such as financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Responsibilities
Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Partake in various department-wide initiatives
Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions
Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management
Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in accounting required
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
Knowledgeable of ERP systems
General ledger experience
Cost analysis experience
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Top notch analytical, quantitative and social skills
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Be detailed, flexible, and organized
Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued
