Stable, non-profit organization seeks an Accounting Manager with non-profit experience. The Non-Profit Accounting Manager will be responsible for supervising and managing the accounting department including overseeing investment accounting activities, and all areas of financial reporting. In this Non-Profit Accounting Manager role, you must have a strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles to ensure accuracy on budgets, financial strategy, reporting, and forecasting.
Maintain and oversee accounting procedures and processes
Plan and implement company’s financial strategy
Prepare financial statements
Report on financial investment activities
Compile investment schedules
Post journal entries
Create financial reports based on data analysis
Oversee preparation and analysis of budgets
Balance sheet analysis
Assist with audit process
Establish and enforce proper accounting operations
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
5+ years’ experience, including Public Accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
