Description
We are providing an opportunity for a Tax Senior role, based in Bryant, Arkansas. The chosen candidate will be responsible for various accounting functions, auditing, cash activity management, compliance, customer service, and payroll processing. Proficiency in Drake Tax Software, Microsoft Excel, and Management Systems will be a significant part of the job.
Responsibilities:
• Conducting various accounting functions using Microsoft Excel and other management systems
• Performing auditing tasks for accurate financial reporting and compliance
• Managing cash activity to ensure proper allocation and use of funds
• Ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations
• Delivering excellent customer service to address inquiries and resolve issues
• Processing payroll accurately and on time
• Preparing corporate tax returns in accordance with regulations
• Generating financial reports to provide insights into the organization's financial status
• Using Drake Tax Software for efficient tax preparation and filing
• Collaborating with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting roles with a preference for public accounting experience.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze data.
• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting functions and principles.
• Experience with auditing procedures and compliance regulations.
• Ability to manage cash activity and ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate and resolve issues.
• Experience with Drake Tax Software is desirable.
• Prior involvement in payroll processing and related tasks.
• Experience in preparing and filing corporate tax returns.
• Ability to generate comprehensive financial reports.
• Familiarity with various management systems to effectively coordinate and monitor workflows.
