Description
Our client is in search of a Corporate Controller to join their team based in Bucks County, Pennsylvania in a newly created role due to growth. The primary role of this position is to coordinate financial and accounting activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing accurate financial reporting. This role is instrumental in maintaining financial security and driving financial decisions throughout their organization.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee financial and accounting activities including consolidated reporting and tax compliance.
• Prepare and compile asset, liability, and capital account entries.
• Develop and maintain regular internal corporate level operating reviews.
• Document financial transactions by accurately entering account information.
• Analyze accounting options and recommend financial actions.
• Audit financial transactions and maintain accounting controls.
• Guide clerical accounting staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Follow internal controls and cyber security procedures to maintain financial security.
• Support the financial statements audit process and tax preparation process annually.
• Verify receiving documentation and prepare payments.
• Develop methods to secure favorable payment terms with vendors.
• Develop and report on Capital Expenditures budgets, actual spending, and forecast needs.
• Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
• Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and participating in professional societies.
• Drive decisions throughout the organization using key performance indicator reports, policies, metrics, and analysis.
• Develop annual and monthly business plans, budgets, cash flow analysis, and forecasts.
• Develop pricing models to assist in new business development and engineering development projects.
Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Functions
• Proven experience in Auditing
• Familiarity with Budget Processes
• Ability to prepare Consolidated Financial Statements
• Experience in Corporate Consolidation
• Skilled in Financial Statements Consolidation
• Strong understanding of Financial Reporting
• Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting
• Able to create Cash Flow Forecasts
• Knowledge of Consolidations is required
