Robert Half Credit Analyst in Bucks County, Pennsylvania

Description

We are inviting applications for the role of a Credit Analyst based in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. This role will be instrumental in our team's function, dealing with customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and ensuring the timely collection of payments. This role is central to our operations and will require effective interaction with customers, sales, customer service, and distribution personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate credit records for all customers.

• Monitor and manage credit holds and accounts receivable reports on a daily basis.

• Access banking and customer portals to download receipts and remittance advice and apply them to customer accounts accordingly.

• Ensure timely processing of approved payment deductions.

• Redirect disputed deductions to the appropriate departments for resolution.

• Assist in providing analysis and commentary on accounts receivable for external auditors and bank representatives.

• Review account aging periodically and provide customer-specific commentaries to management.

• Document collection activity for all past due accounts and refer uncollectible/problematic account balances to management.

• Maintain proper credit hold status for assigned accounts and conduct research to reconcile account discrepancies.

• Utilize skills in Corporate Credit, Credit - Collections, Credit - Commercial, Credit Administration, Credit Analysis, Credit Exposure, Credit Investigations, Credit Policies & Procedures, Credit Reports, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM in executing these responsibilities.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a role related to Credit Analysis.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

• Demonstrated knowledge in Corporate Credit and Credit Collections.

• Experience with Credit - Commercial and Credit Administration.

• Familiarity with Credit Analysis and Credit Exposure.

• Experience in conducting Credit Investigations.

• Understanding of Credit Policies & Procedures.

• Proficiency in generating and interpreting Credit Reports.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
