Description We are seeking a Controller to join our team in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. As a Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable and receivable, and managing auditing processes. You will also play a vital role in budget processes and month-end close activities. This role requires the ability to supervise teams and work proficiently with Accounting Software Systems and ERP Solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all accounting functions to maintain the financial health of the organization
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and identify any discrepancies
• Take charge of budget processes, ensuring all financial plans align with company goals
• Handle month-end close activities, reviewing all financial reports for accuracy
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ERP Solutions to streamline accounting tasks
• Supervise accounting teams, providing guidance and support as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and achieve company objectives
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency
• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies in financial reports. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role or related field.
• Proven proficiency with Accounting Software Systems.
• Familiarity with ERP Solutions is required.
• Extensive knowledge of Accounting Functions.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management.
• Previous experience in Auditing.
• Proficiency in managing and executing Budget Processes.
• Experience in a supervisory role, leading and managing teams.
• Proficiency in executing Month End Close operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
• CPA or CMA certification would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
