Description
Robert Half is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a well-respected manufacturing company in Buffalo, IA. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, where you will be primarily responsible for managing customer order inquires, requiring a strong focus on customer service and data entry skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information about incoming and outgoing shipments.
Maintain schedule of material for inbound and outbound of shipments
Provide assistance to the customer for completing all required paperwork
Manage customer complaints, billing questions, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution.
Maintain strong product knowledge to answer customer queries.
Record shipment data, such as weight, waste codes, container count, and other discrepancies for reporting purposes.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Skills We Look For:
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
Ability to deal with complaints and provide appropriate solutions.
Knowledge of the cement industry or building materials will be highly appreciated.
