Description
We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our Buffalo, New York team. The successful candidate will be involved in the design, development, and maintenance of databases, as well as in the evaluation and analysis of data. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity where the successful candidate will utilize their skills in database management, Microsoft tools, and data warehousing.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage databases to ensure functionality and optimization
• Utilize Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL for database management
• Conduct AB Testing to optimize database performance and ensure data validity
• Implement backup technologies to secure data and ensure data recovery
• Analyze and troubleshoot database performance issues
• Collaborate with other teams to identify opportunities for process improvements
• Ensure the security of databases, performing updates and patches as necessary
• Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions
• Maintain data warehousing systems for business intelligence
• Develop and enforce database administration and user standards and procedures.
Requirements • Proficient in Database management
• Demonstrable experience with Microsoft suite of software
• Familiarity with Backup Technologies
• Knowledge and experience in Data Warehousing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Relevant certifications in database management will be an added advantage
