Description
Lindsey McCarthy with Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for an HR Assistant in Buffalo, New York. The HR Specialist will play a critical role in various HR functions such as recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and benefits functions. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting with transitioning to Bamboo from Paylocity
• Assisting with onboarding, setting up orientation
• Recruiting for entry level roles
• Conducting reference checks
• Light employee relations
• Employee record maintenance and file audits
• Ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations
• Managing employee relations and addressing any issues that may arise
• Utilizing Paylocity and BambooHR software for HR tasks.
Requirements
• Proficiency in using HR software, specifically Paylocity and Bamboo
• Strong understanding of HR compliance and regulations
• Proven ability in managing and improving employee relations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a high-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and a high level of trust
• Solid knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
