Further your career in this Sales Assistant role - a great opportunity for self-starters! OfficeTeam has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Assistant position with a Energy/Natural Resources company in the Buffalo, New York region. This position is offered on a short-term temporary-to-full-time basis.

Your responsibilities in this role

  • Preparing sales reports and presentations

  • Preparing travel and meeting arrangements

  • Handling and coordinating training courses for internal employees

  • Completing ancillary Sales Assistant tasks as needed

  • Supporting sales teams by providing administrative, technical and clerical support

  • Assisting the sales department in promoting company products and services

  • Handling preparations for and attending trade shows and conventions

  • Assisting in coordinating orders to ensure completion of process

  • Respond to customer requests quickly and professionally, providing superior service

  • Composing and proofreading correspondence and other documents


  • Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

  • Ability to multitask effectively

  • BA/BS degree in business, communications, or a related field recommended

  • Drive Lead Generation experience preferred

  • Lead Generation Campaigns experience

  • Command of Sales Calls

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Call Center Customer Service

  • Maintain Relationships experience highly desired

  • Exceptional social skills, previous experience coordinating projects, and able to work well with all internal personnel, outside clients and vendors

  • 2+ years of Sales Assistant experience preferred

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Program skills

    • Comprehension of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
