Description We are looking for a dedicated Sr. Accountant to join our team in Buffalo, New York. This role involves a variety of tasks in the accounting sector, enabling you to utilize your skills in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations, among others. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be pivotal in maintaining our financial records and ensuring that all of our accounting operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize your expertise in GAAP and IFRS to maintain our accounting records and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

• Review, enhance, and streamline our accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Handle month-end requirements, including the preparation of journal entries and month-end close activities.

• Leverage your proficiency in Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to manage and analyze financial data.

• Use your strong analytical skills to examine financial data, identify trends, and provide accurate financial information to management.

• Show initiative and attention to detail in managing and reconciling accounts, ensuring accuracy and reliability in the ledgers.

• Use your strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with other departments and external stakeholders.

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and maintaining high levels of productivity. Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.

• Expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is mandatory.

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is necessary.

• Proficiency in General Ledger operations is expected.

• Ability to prepare and review Journal Entries is needed.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required.

• Experience in Month End Close activities is necessary.

• Knowledge of NetSuite software is a prerequisite.

• Familiarity with Oracle software is expected.

• Proficiency in SAP software is mandatory.

• Prior experience in Month-end Close Activities is required.
