TAX SENIOR - PUBLIC ACCOUNTING - Well-Known and Respected Public Accounting Firm in Gwinnett County
Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic client looking for a Tax Accountant. The Tax Accountant will work with financial and income tax statements, making sure that they comply with tax laws by filing their federal and state tax returns. This is the role for a deadline driven Tax Accountant with excellent attention to detail and organization.

Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings
Stay informed on tax changes and industry trends by participating in educational opportunities, participating in professional organizations, keeping up with professional networks and reading professional publications
Manage the company's tax database and put together tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, and reports
Recommend ways to improve profits and identify legal tax savings
Provide management with information regarding the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws
Manage outsourced tax preparation work
Confirm that clients comply with federal, state and local tax regulations
Prepare quarterly and annual tax reports, ensuring accuracy
Requirements
Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting or relevant field required
CPA required
2+ years of public or corporate tax
Problem-solving and creative thinking skills
Outstanding organizational skills
Be detailed, flexible, and organized
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
Skilled at time management
