Description
Robert Half has partnered with growing CPA firm in Burbank, California to hire a bookkeeper. This role involves managing our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments for a portfolio of clients . You will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of bookkeeping for these clients.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries and bank reconciliation
• Conduct a monthly reconciliation of every bank account
• Complete bi-monthly payroll functions in order to ensure that all staff are paid in a timely and accurate manner
• Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy
• Review the company's bookkeeping to ensure accuracy
• Address and resolve any inquiries or issues related to bookkeeping
The successful candidate should have a strong background in bookkeeping and a keen attention to detail. We are looking for a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and provide high-quality work.
Requirements • Must possess a minimum of three years of experience in bookkeeping
• Proficiency in bookkeeping and basic bookkeeping skills is essential
• Experience with bi-monthly payroll processing is required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent computer skills, particularly with accounting software and spreadsheet programs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and regulatory standards
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines
• Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
