We are seeking a dedicated Tax Senior for a medium sized CPA firm in Burbank, California. The role involves preparing tax returns for Scorp, Corp, and high net worth individuals. This position is a permanent role and requires a high level of proficiency in tax preparation. Our client offers excellent benefits and flexible working arrangements as needed!

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and filing tax returns for Scorp, Corp, and high net worth individuals

• Ensuring accurate and efficient processing of tax returns

• Providing tax advice and planning strategies to clients

• Keeping up to date with the latest tax laws and regulations

• Resolving client inquiries related to their tax returns

• Maintaining strict confidentiality of all client information

• Communicating with clients to gather necessary information for tax return preparation

• Identifying potential tax credits and liabilities, ensuring accurate and complete returns are filed in a timely manner

• Reviewing financial records such as income statements and documentation of expenditures to determine forms needed to prepare tax returns.

Requirements • A minimum of 2 years of experience in tax preparation

• Proficiency in tax preparation software and understanding of tax codes

• Strong understanding of federal, state and local tax laws

• Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Detail-oriented and able to work with complex financial data

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is a plus.
