Description We are looking for a diligent Credit Clerk to join our team in Burlingame, California. In this role, you will be heavily involved in customer service and the sales department, handling a variety of pre-sales and post-sales service functions. You will be interacting with customers through various channels, processing returns, maintaining records, and handling other office functions. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Handle customer requests and prepare documents related to processing returns and exchanges.
• Update databases with the status of returned materials issues and account for returns inventory.
• Record and report the status of equipment returns, repairs, replacements, sales orders, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure service information is accessible by sorting and filing documents/forms.
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records.
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.
• Handle requests for additional company materials.
• Maintain records of returns, schedule changes, product enhancements or changes, and product pricing.
• Resolve return credit problems. Requirements • Proficiency in Customer Service
• Demonstrated Sales ability
• Understanding of Office Functions
• Experience with Documentation
• Familiarity with Materials Handling
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word
• Experience with Database management
• Ability to provide Workstation Support
• Knowledge of Credit and Financial Notes
• Proven Customer Support skills
• Familiarity with Social Media Channels
• Ability to handle Enhancement and Replacement tasks
• Experience in maintaining Records
• Ability to Direct Incoming Calls and Route Incoming Calls
• Experience with Processing Returns
• Ability to manage Trouble Tickets
• Knowledge of Delivery Schedule and Schedule Changes
• Experience in Pre-Sales and Post-Sales activities
• Understanding of Product Pricing
