Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Burlington, Massachusetts
Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Burlington, Massachusetts. This role primarily revolves around accounts payable operations, invoice processing, and other accounting duties within the telecom industry.
Responsibilities:
• Strictly handle all accounts payable tasks
• Organize and process approximately 25 invoices on a weekly basis
• Utilize accounting software such as Yardi, Great Plains, IBM AS/400, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and Microsoft Excel for various tasks
• Execute other light accounting work as needed
• Carry out check processing and data entry tasks
• Manage accounting functions effectively and efficiently
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC)
• Familiarity with IBM AS/400
• Knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience with Check Processing
• Proficiency in Data Entry
• Ability to identify and resolve Discrepancies
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple assignments
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
