Robert Half Attorney/Lawyer in Burlington, Massachusetts

Description

The successful candidate will join our dynamic in-house legal team as a Commercial Contract Attorney. This role requires someone who is dedicated, enthusiastic, and competent in navigating complex legal situations. Your key responsibility will be to review, draft and negotiate a wide range of agreements ensuring the company’s best interests are protected.

Responsibilities:

  1. Review and analyze a variety of legal documents including vendor contracts, NDAs, licensing agreements, purchase agreements, and more.

  2. Negotiate contract terms, conditions, and pricing with both internal and external parties.

  3. Draft and revise a wide variety of agreements keeping in mind both legal and business strategies.

  4. Advise management on contract status, legal risks, and business terms of various deals.

  5. Provide interpretation of terms and conditions of contractual obligations.

  6. Conduct contract strategy meetings to identify issues and client requirements.

  7. Assist in establishing and maintaining templates, standard clauses, and corporate policies and procedures.

  8. Collaborate with an internal team of attorneys and outside counsel on contractual matters.

  9. Ensure timely contract review, approval, and execution in accordance with corporate standards.

  10. Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders.

    Requirements - Licensed attorney

  • Able to handle multiple assignments, work well under pressure, and have the flexibility to assist the team in meeting client demands on accelerated schedules

  • Adeptness in Draft Contracts

  • Negotiate Contracts experience preferred

  • Negotiate Terms experience required

  • Comprehensive knowledge of negotiation

  • Strong familiarity with contract negotiation

  • Demonstrated knowledge of contracts

  • General familiarity with Commercial Contracts

  • Legal Contracts experience

  • Stellar academic credentials and references

  • Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

  • Must possess analytical, legal research and writing skills

  • Excellent attention to detail
