Description Accountemps is looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to be part of a thriving company in the Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance industry. Looking for work where you can become a key business partner in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management? This Financial Analyst position might be right for you. This position would involve conducting financial modeling on various financial products, as well as measuring, analyzing and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, you're a good fit for this position. In this position, you will also advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management. This Financial Analyst role, which is a long-term temporary-to-full-time employment opportunity, is based in the Burlington, North Carolina, area.
Own monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required
Monitor monthly and quarterly performance by comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources effectively
Work next to senior executives on long-term deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
Inspect performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities
This position would suit a flexible individual that has experience managing large amounts of information and meeting expectations
Contribute to weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting
Operate with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process
Discover the root causes of internal and external facts that are influencing performance and outcomes
Facilitate effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support
Complete and direct forecasting reports
Support contacts in Accounting and Operations to execute business plans Requirements - Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience preferable)
Firm understanding of problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
Understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively
Prior knowledge in Spreadsheet and ERP system
Comprehensive knowledge of payroll
Ad Hoc Financial Analysis experience
Experience with Microsoft Excel
Command of Payroll Taxes
