Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Lockbox Remittance Processor in Burlington, Vermont, United States. The role is primarily involved in the handling and depositing of remittances and documents received by mail.
Responsibilities:
• Handling and depositing remittances received by mail efficiently
• Processing and managing Lock Box operations
• Staffing coordination to ensure smooth operations
• Accurate filing and document management, including photocopying and scanning documents
• Ensuring accurate data entry and processing in the system
• Responding to and resolving customer inquiries related to remittances
• Conducting regular checks on customer accounts and taking appropriate action
• Maintaining accurate records of all transactions and operations
• Ensuring all activities comply with industry regulations and standards
• Collaborating with team members to meet and exceed operational goals. Requirements • Must have experience in handling deposits and remittances.
• Experience with Lock Box operations is essential.
• Should be proficient in photocopying and scanning documents.
• Experience in a staffing role or similar is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle and process large volumes of data accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in entering data.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using standard office equipment and software.
• Must have a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
