Robert Half Lockbox Remittance Processor in Burlington, Vermont
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a File Clerk position in Burlington, Vermont. This role is primarily focused on handling and depositing remittances, maintaining files, and managing documentation. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team in the telecom industry, processing and organizing vast amounts of data.
Responsibilities:
• Handle and deposit remittances received via mail to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Maintain and manage a comprehensive filing system for easy retrieval of documents.
• Collaborate with the staffing team to maintain an organized workflow.
• Utilize the Lock Box system for secure storage and processing of customer payments.
• Contribute to the overall efficiency of the team by assisting with additional tasks as needed.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• Act as a point of contact for any inquiries related to file management.
• Regularly review and update files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with different teams to fulfill documentation requirements.
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential and ethical manner. Requirements • Proficiency in handling and managing files and records
• Demonstrated experience with documentation processes
• Familiarity with deposit procedures
• Proven ability in staffing related tasks
• Experience as a processor in a relevant field
• Knowledge of remittance procedures
• Experience with lock box operations
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in using office equipment such as photocopiers, scanners, and printers
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• High school diploma or equivalent education level.
