Description
This Senior Accountant and Payroll position is a perfect match for a skilled financial consultant with an aptitude for adaptability. Your responsibilities
Process and manage a large payroll and mentor payroll processors.
Work with internal and external auditors to coordinate quarterly reviews and testing
Complete other projects as required
Continually improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Prepare reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts
Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)
Carry out monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Requirements
A strong track record of communicating, both verbally and in writing, with functional department managers
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
7+ years of overall general accounting experience
Great attention to detail
Payroll experience preferred
Account reconciliation experience
Payroll management experience
Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate report
