Robert Half is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our client's team. This position is a contract opportunity with a growing company. If you are interested in a career in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management, this is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience. The client is open to individuals working hybrid but must be local to Minnesota. This role will work in a collaborative, fast paced environment. Main Responsibilities:
Ensure timely vendor fulfillment for orders and quote requests
Contribute to process improvements for vendor follow ups
Learn to contribute to other areas of the process including quote generation, order placement, PO generation, and goods receiving and billing
1-2 years of experience
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
Highly collaborative working style
Ability to interact effectively with multiple levels of customer service logistics planning and operations.
Critical thinking analytical and problem-solving skills
Customer service focused ability to partner with internal/external contacts
