As the PC Technician, you will work in the Burtonsville, Maryland, region. This role is a permanent opportunity.
How you will make an impact
Assist with functionality testing and end user support
Break down, box and ship old equipment
Keep track of equipment and collaborate on possible purchases
Complete PC-to-PC data transfers and troubleshoot software/hardware and break/fix
Handle all imaging and preparation tasks for new computers
Ensure sound electronic data records by adhering to company quality standards
Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
Document all daily data communication transactions, issues and solutions or installations
Take down, pack, transport and set up/install on site
Install printers, and troubleshoot and repair issues
Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and refurbish a variety of computer hardware, including PCs, laptops, monitors, servers and other IT equipment
Take responsibility for technology implementation projects and carry them out
Coordinate with the appropriate vendors to arrange repairs Requirements - A certification in CompTIA A+ is mandatory
Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Solid understanding of O 365
Command of Active Directory
Microsoft Azure experience
Google Suite experience
Desktop Imaging experience highly desired
Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds
2+ years of experience with PC and Mac hardware and software, and an understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN
Knowledgeable of network design and implementation strategies
