Robert Half Production Revenue Accountant in Calabasas, California

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Production Revenue Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various financial aspects of production, such as issuing purchase orders, reconciling transactions, and maintaining vendor relationships. You will also be expected to analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Issue accurate and timely Purchase Orders for production-related expenditures

• Ensure the swift receipt of goods and services for financial recognition

• Reconcile outstanding purchase transactions for resolution in a timely manner

• Analyze spend data to identify opportunities for cost-saving, particularly in production and operations

• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Procurement teams to provide efficient purchasing support

• Facilitate effective sourcing methods and maintain vendor KPIs to ensure compliance

• Prioritize product and service quality during all vendor discussions and negotiations

• Ensure documents for new vendor setup are submitted in a timely manner

• Foster strong vendor relationships for mutually beneficial outcomes

• Undertake special projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Production Revenue Accountant or a similar role in the financial sector.

• Proficient in the generation, review, and management of Purchase Orders.

• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships efficiently.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field is preferred.

• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Exceptional time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions based on analysis.

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.

• Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

• Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and developments.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is an advantage.
