Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Administrator in Calistoga, California. The chosen candidate will be responsible for handling bi-weekly payroll for a team of 65 employees and ensuring accurate tax reportings. This role involves working with the ERP system for payroll and using Microsoft Office.
Key responsibilities:
• Administer bi-weekly payroll for a team of 65 employees
• Ensure accurate and timely tax reportings to IRS and CalPHERs
• Maintain and manage employee data in the ERP system for payroll
• Utilize Microsoft Office for various payroll related tasks
• Distinguish between exempt and non-exempt employees for accurate payroll processing
• Utilize accounting software systems for efficient payroll administration
• Demonstrate proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Use accounting functions and auditing skills to ensure accurate financial reportings
• Administer 401k - RRSP Administration and handle benefit functions
• Be adept at using About Time software for effective time management. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now
• Knowledge of Ceridian systems
• Ability to generate and analyze Crystal Reports
• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration
• Familiarity with About Time software
• Ability to perform Accounting Functions
• Experience in Auditing
• Knowledge and experience in Benefit Functions
