Robert Half Corporate Paralegal in Cambridge, Massachusetts
Description We are offering a short-term contract opportunity for a Corporate Paralegal in the pharmaceutical industry. This role is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and involves a variety of tasks related to corporate governance and legal administration.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting in the organization and review of corporate governance materials including Board and committee agendas, minutes, resolutions, and written consents.
• Maintaining corporate minute books and ensuring compliance with Committee charters and governance policies.
• Managing state qualifications for the company and its subsidiaries, which includes filing of annual reports and licenses.
• Preparing, filing, and maintaining all state Board of Pharmacy licenses.
• Organizing and maintaining contracts in the contracts database.
• Utilizing skills such as Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS), Case Management Software, CompuLaw, and more to carry out tasks efficiently.
• Ensuring effective communication and coordination for Board and Committee evaluations and director and officer questionnaires.
• Administering claim procedures and handling briefing and calendar management tasks.
• Overseeing billing functions and ensuring adherence to corporate governance. Requirements • Must possess a solid understanding of corporate governance principles
• Proficient in using Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS), and Case Management Software
• Experience with CompuLaw is necessary
• Ability to perform billing functions effectively
• Must be able to prepare and deliver briefings on legal matters
• Proficient in calendar management
• Experience in claim administration
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required
• Must have a thorough understanding of corporate governance regulations and practices
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding corporate environment
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Must have a bachelor's degree in law, business administration, or a related field
• Prior experience in a pharmaceutical or related industry is a plus
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Must be detail-oriented and organized
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
• Should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
