Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Cambridge, Massachusetts
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in the technology industry, based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The Desktop Support Analyst will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to users, maintaining IT systems, and troubleshooting a variety of technical issues.
Responsibilities:
• Provide Tier 2/3 desktop support to users on a daily basis on-site.
• Ensure the smooth operation of Windows 10 systems across the organization.
• Build and maintain system images for efficient deployment and setup.
• Utilize Azure AD for identity and access management.
• Support Audio Visual (AV) systems, focusing on MS Teams AV Stack - Crestron Polycom.
• Understand and apply basic network concepts, including the management and maintenance of wireless access points.
• Utilize a range of skills including Computer Hardware, MS Windows 10, Azure AD Connect, Computer Imaging, Desktop Imaging, Wireless Access, Wireless Access Points, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Desktop Support. Requirements • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Desktop Support Analyst or similar role.
• Proficient in Computer Hardware and Desktop Imaging.
• Experience with MS Windows 10 is a must.
• Familiarity with Azure AD Connect and Active Directory.
• Knowledge of Azure Active Directory is preferred.
• Skilled in Wireless Access and Wireless Access Points.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Computer Imaging.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certification or degree in Information Technology or related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
