Robert Half Help Desk Analyst in Cambridge, Massachusetts
Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as a Help Desk Analyst in the education sector based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. As a Help Desk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and managing our ticketing system, providing basic support for various equipment and services, and managing general office tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the ticketing system, delivering standard responses, sharing relevant documentation, and delegating tickets as necessary
• Provide fundamental support both in person and remotely for a range of equipment and services, including but not limited to printers, scanners, mailing equipment, audiovisual equipment, workstation equipment, and staff laptops
• Coordinate with Management Company for necessary maintenance needs
• Manage general office support tasks such as processing incoming/outgoing mail and packages via USPS, FedEx, and UPS, replenishing supplies, and maintaining clean and organized public spaces
• Assist in tracking and managing inventory of equipment and supplies
• Utilize Citrix Technologies, Database, Lotus Notes, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deskside Support, Desktop Hardware, Jamf Pro, JAMF Casper Suite, Mac OS, Mac OS X, Ticketing System, Support Tickets to perform daily tasks and responsibilities efficiently. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Help Desk Analyst or in a similar role within the education industry.
• Proficiency in Citrix Technologies is required.
• Solid understanding and experience working with databases.
• Knowledge of Lotus Notes is preferred.
• Familiarity with computer hardware and ability to troubleshoot related issues.
• Experience in configuration management is essential.
• Must have experience in deskside support.
• Familiarity with desktop hardware and its various components.
• Proficiency in using Jamf Pro is a must.
• Experience with JAMF Casper Suite is desired.
• Comfortable working with Mac OS and Mac OS X.
• Experience with ticketing systems for tracking support requests.
