Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Web Developer based in Cambridge, Maryland. This role will primarily focus on a web development project to revamp our website, including front-end development and coding. The selected candidate will be fine working remotely and will engage with SQL, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the revamping of the website, focusing on front-end development and coding

• Utilize SQL for database management and operations

• Work on backend development tasks to support the front-end operations

• Employ bug tracking methods to identify, resolve, and prevent issues in the web development project

• Leverage client-side scripting to enhance user interactions on the website

• Manage content using the Content Management System (CMS)

• Conduct AB testing to optimize the website's performance

• Utilize Ajax, CSS, and Design Framework for web development tasks

• Work with Drupal as a primary CMS for the website

• Maintain regular communication with team members and stakeholders, providing updates and receiving feedback. Requirements • Proficiency in Backend Development, including understanding of programming languages and server, network, and hosting environments.

• Experience with Bug Tracking, ability to identify, record, and track bugs in the system.

• Knowledge of Client Side Scripting, ability to write scripts that run on the client's web browser.

• Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS), especially Drupal.

• Strong understanding of Database management, including designing, writing, and troubleshooting SQL code.

• Experience in AB Testing, ability to design, execute, and interpret results to optimize web performance.

• Proficiency in Ajax, CSS, and other key web design languages.

• Strong design skills, with an emphasis on creating user-friendly, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing websites.

• Experience with various Frameworks, ability to use frameworks to structure and simplify web development.
