Robert Half Inventory Analyst in Camden, New Jersey

In this Inventory Analyst position, you will be tasked with managing, maintaining, accounting and controlling inventory processes and analytical reporting. This Inventory Analyst role, which is a permanent employment opportunity, is located in the South Jersey area.
How you will make an impact:
Responsible for daily cost and general ledger accounting and manage the month-end accounting close for inventory including: operational management reporting, journal entries, account analysis and standard vs actual reconciliation.
Evaluate and impact business performance by analyzing past results; performing variance analysis with goals, plan and forecasts; identifying trends and making recommendations for improvements
Develop costing methods that help operations and finance identify and maximize areas of efficiency.
Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
The ideal Inventory Analyst candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in systems, finance or accounting required. CMA or MBA or other related progression preferred.
Other requirements for the Inventory Analyst position include and are not limited to:
3+ years of Inventory Management or other relevant experience
Advanced Excel level skills (V/X lookups, pivot tables, and advanced excel macros)
Outstanding communications, analytical, planning, data gathering, critical thinking and teamwork skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills; be comfortable interacting with executive-level management
