Description
Our client is seeking an eager and forward-thinking Accounting Clerk who is fresh out of college and hungry for learning. This role offers fantastic entry-level experience, working directly under experienced management in a supportive and team-based environment. A drive for hard work and an adaptable mindset are key essentials for our ideal candidate.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of financial and statistical statements and records.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of payments.
Perform data entry tasks and manage customer records.
Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
Support additional projects as required by management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Strong eagerness to learn and develop professionally in the field of accounting.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.
Familiarity with accounting software (eg., Quickbooks) is a plus.
Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas.
